Welcome my online students and thank you for signing up for this virtual classroom. I know many of you chose to be here instead of hanging out with your friends or watching TV because you want to know how to make money online, well today’s online lesson is to learn affiliate marketing 101: what matters most.
The topic, “what matters most”, is what I am going to focus on today. There is so much noise in our current society that we tend to lose focus on our business. Here are some obstacles that stand in our way:
1. Watch movies on TV or on the Internet.
2. Spending too much time with our friends.
3. Play video games.
4. Rest in the house doing nothing.
Some of these things are fine to do for a short time, but if you let these activities influence you all day, you won’t do anything for your business. Your website will run on autopilot as long as you keep working to retrieve the links to your website. You can do this by writing articles every day, using online media (YouTube, Vimeo, Twitter, Facebook, and other media sources) to help spread the word about your website around the world.
To become a successful businessman or businesswoman, you must decide what matters most to you. Think of some of the things you can sacrifice so you can focus on your online business. Make a family business plan, for those couples who are married and talk about the importance of operating a business from home and how it can greatly affect the family in the long run. For students, you can afford to miss a movie at the cinema or if you have nothing to do on the weekends, you can write a blog about your website or write an article on the topics you like.
Now, if you’re a student or parent with a busy lifestyle, you can use your mobile device to write an article if you’re always on the go. Right now, I’m presenting this lesson to you on my mobile device at work. If you love watching sports on TV, use that period of time during the game to write an article on your mobile device.
