ALIAS originates from the South Bronx, New York, but the music is also influenced by time spent in Miami, FL, Atlanta, GA, as well as the West Coast of Los Angeles, CA. His first album, “The World Ain’t Ready! Chapter I: Rise to Power”, symbolizes the inner conflicts that many of us face in order to survive in the world, to become a product of our environment, our burning ambition and passions and our noblest desires to reach our maximum potential and be the best of ourselves; This is the universal struggle of life!
ALIAS is a creative and resourceful lyricist for “Worldz Finest Enterprises”, an independent label focused on delivering fun and engaging music. ALIAS ‘debut album “The World Isn’t Ready! Chapter I: Rise to Power” takes you on a journey of joy, sadness, despair, love, hope, and the many ups and downs of life. It’s a mix of old school hip-hop, street music, east coast, west coast, and dirty south. ALIAS is influenced by all of these styles from direct experience of living in all of these areas. From New York to Atlanta, from Los Angeles to Miami, WFE started out as a very flexible network of people who simply loved hip-hop music. Right from the start, these folks experienced the birth of hip-hop straight from the streets of the South Bronx. From their first job as box boys for greats like Grandmaster Flash and Melle Mel from The Furious Five; to throw improvisations in the park, street parties and MC, DJ and breakdance shows. These experiences would lead to writing, acting and producing. WFE has grown and built a following from the East Coast to the West Coast, from the Midwest to the Dirty South. Worldz Finest Enterprises is now poised to make an impact in the industry, representing hip-hop the way it should be! These milestones will help lay the foundation for the growth and success of WFEs. Worldz Finest will raise the bar for hip-hop by taking it to the next level! ALIAS will lead the charge to represent Hip-Hop to the fullest!
WFE plans to grow and move forward with the advancement of technology. The Internet will allow us to promote, market and sell our products and services on an ongoing basis. The products that will be available will be CDs, tapes, presentations, T-shirts and associated peripheries. All personnel involved have years of experience and outstanding talent in their fields. Collectively, they will help make WFE truly the best independent music label in the world. What makes WFE unique is that we focus on art. We put music first when making all business decisions. We remember that music is an art first and foremost.
While the commercial part is in charge of business people. The art side is led by artists. Unlike most other record labels that approach their music solely from a commercial aspect (which we think is important), we must always remember that what sells records is not business or promotion, but ultimately the music. If the music is good, in a sense it will sell itself. Also, WFE believes it has an outstanding logo. The best emblem in the world is simple but it says it all. WFE offers the most popular music in the world! We want to make this emblem synonymous with good music. This logo will be at the forefront of all our promotions. ALIAS currently plays periodically in Atlanta. You can see it on Wednesdays at Blues in the Alley on the subway. On Friday nights he can be seen at the Mambo Room in Peachtree on Bridgetown Grill near Fox Theater. And on Sundays at Copeland’s on Piedmont Rd near Peachtree!
ALIAS is a versatile artist influenced by all the great songs ever made, be it Hip-Hop, R&B, Soul, Blues, Rock ‘n Roll, Jazz, or Alternative! The main influences of ALIAS are their life experiences. He likes to get into a zone and create whatever style of music comes out of that vibe! Loves listening to 70s soul music like Stevie Wonder, Commodores, Gladys Knight & The Pips, Earth Wind & Fire and Jackson 5. Hip-hop likes are Nas, Jay-Z, Wu-Tang, Biggie, Tupac, Ludacris , Dr. Dre and every great song!
