Amritsar:

Amritsar is a city in Punjab. It is in the northwestern part of India. It is the home of the Harmandir Sahib, also known as the Golden Temple. This is the spiritual and cultural center of the Sikh religion. The city derives its name from Amrit Sarovar, the sacred tank that surrounds the fabulous Golden Temple. It has a rich and vibrant culture and is famous for its delicious Punjabi cuisine.

There are many places of interest here. These attractions attract tourists from all over the world. The Golden Temple located here is built in the 14th century. This is one of the holiest places of the Sikhs. This temple is also called the golden temple of Harminder Sahib. You can reach this place by bus. Buses are regularly and easily available to Amritsar.
