God is working in our world. A COMMANDER VOICE tells a mother: “Put the carriage back on the sidewalk!” So he doesn’t hesitate and puts the stroller back on the sidewalk. Immediately, a truck accelerates around the corner and passes just over the sidewalk, without seeing the mother, the baby and the carriage. To Albert, a man who prayed: “God, is there no help for me?” A MYSTERY AND ENCOURAGING VOICE says, “God is not through with you yet, son. God is not through with you yet.” Before Albert heard this voice, he had the sensation of being cradled, completely enveloped by the wings of a bird. What salvation for a man who was about to jump off the bridge.
Before George Ritchie was a psychiatrist, he had an NDE [near-death experience.] Your report of witnessing the behind-the-scenes workings of a vast angelic system is very helpful. Christ accompanied him on a journey through the various kingdoms of existence.
First, he was shown a terrestrial environment in which living people were individually enveloped by a kind of electric field, which George called AURA. In addition, in this environment he saw “gray, colorless souls, without light or aura, who were deceased people who could not [or wouldn’t] leave the earthly plane. Some were attached to living people through love. Others were earthbound by worldly addictions, compulsions, and attachments. These gray souls were seen to gravitate towards living beings with similar addictions or affinities. For example, George saw real [living ] people getting drunk in a bar As the alcohol weakened the drinkers’ aura, holes opened up in their electric field. When that happened, George could see other souls, who had been walking around the bar, running towards the defenseless body “trying to indirectly experience the sensation of being drunk”.
He was then taken to another area of this earthly environment where the most colorless souls seemed consumed by their own selfishness. They seemed to have “the most hateful, vindictive, self-centered and know-it-all attitudes” I had ever seen. “They were beating each other and committing all kinds of lewd acts to each other.” He also saw angels there, trying to offer help and occasionally reaching out to these self-absorbed souls. George added, “The condition of these lost souls seemed almost to break the heart of the Christ, who was there by my side.”
Finally, George was shown an angelic kingdom. These beings gave off a “glow much brighter than human auras, though not as bright as that coming from Christ himself.” They seemed to be doing research of all kinds and studying the sacred books of the universe. And the music was amazing with musical instruments that we don’t even have on earth, yet.
George was taken through higher education centers where he couldn’t even understand the scientific instrumentation these beings were using. Later, during World War II, he saw pictures in LIFE magazine of the first atomic power plant and realized that he had seen the same setup ten years earlier.
George makes the astonishing suggestion that ideas reach the human brain through “angelic messengers who impart subconscious suggestions to receptive people in dreams or other heightened states of consciousness.” These angels are giving the results of their research. Is that why multiple inventors invent the same device at the same time, almost bumping into each other in the patent office?
This book is filled with many examples of supernatural events that seem to echo the biblical record. I pray that we will benefit from these ongoing revelations as we spend time in the WONDER and the LOVE of the ALMIGHTY.
