free logo design

Free logo designs are just not worth it. They’re like Frankenstein trying to sell his free monster! In addition to these free logos, there are probably some guys online who put big fonts and clip art through outdated software and claim it’s a worthy logo. Most of the time, these logos are infringed and violate trademark policies. However, a major problem with free logos and free logo websites is that they are developed by marketers and not by professional designers who know how to make a good logo. They want to make money and not necessarily provide the quality that the customer asks for.

Free logos are basically out of the box and not original, lots of other people would be using this logo. You certainly don’t want to represent your product with a common, infringed logo. Trademark attorneys are very interested in the originality of a logo. For proper brand protection, it is very important to register your logo as a trademark. You don’t need to lose this protection by buying a free logo.

Also, the free logo is probably just a low resolution bitmat image. These bitmat images are not suitable for use on websites and certainly not for use in print. Free logos do not provide a vector format that is essential for printers to work. Free business logo designs are a waste of time and effort. The worst aspect of this whole process is that even though you get a free logo, it costs you a lot more money in the end than if you had purchased a custom designed logo.
