25 Inexpensive Gifts Kids Can Give This Christmas

Giving gifts can be a daunting challenge, especially at Christmas. Many times our young people want to participate in this wonderful festivity by giving their own gifts to family and friends. Unfortunately, the cost of generosity can be too much, especially if you’re on a tight budget. By being a bit creative and open-minded, you and your children can get through the season of giving with ease. You will find that many of these ideas can be done for very little and I find the local dollar store works great for accessories and gift wrapping.

Here are some gift ideas kids can give their loved ones that won’t break the bank.

1. Personalized Christmas ornaments, handmade or purchased and then personalized with beads, glitter, names, etc.

2. Gardening gloves with mini-packet of plant or flower seeds

3. Homemade Christmas Cookies in a Christmas Tin with the Recipe

4. Homemade Cookie Mix in a Jar with Baking Instructions

5. Note cards or stationery, pen. Add a stamp book if the gift is for a distant relative or pen pal.

6. Set of dish towels, kitchen towels or potholders or kitchen utensils tied with a ribbon

7. Magazines tied with a pretty bow

8. Mini Pack of Coffee (Makes a Whole Pot) in a Mug with Homemade Chocolate Dipped Spoons

9. $5.00 gift certificate to a local ice cream shop or coffee shop

10. Disposable camera or film rolls with mini-photo album

11. Decorate a cheap stocking and fill it with treats
