Cool the crust on a wire rack. Maintain the oven temperature.

To fill in: –

Whisk together the brown sugar, eggs, sea salt, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves in a medium bowl. Add the pumpkin and cream and beat until well blended and smooth.

To fill the crust. Bake the cake until the filling is set, covering the crust with a foil collar if it browns too quickly, about 30 minutes.

Sprinkle topping evenly over top of cake. Reduce oven temperature to 325 ° F; Continue to bake the cake until the filling is firm and slightly puffed in the center, about 15 more minutes. Transfer cake to wire rack and cool completely.

Pumpkin Pie with Walnut Brown Sugar Frosting can be served as desired or, if made early, stored in the refrigerator and removed 1 hour before serving. Serve with a cream of your choice.

Enjoy!
