Chromates are carefree quantum particles that love to play games. One little Chromate in particular is a bit behind the pack when it comes to faster-than-light travel and needs your help to help him get better. Each level is a long, perfectly straight track, and all you have to do is reach the finish line without falling. There are numerous obstacles like holes, ramps, other Chromates, winding paths, fires, and walls, to name just a few, that make it more and more challenging. You can even set the speed individually for each level so you never lose your depth. In the more than 100 levels of Arcade you will find more than 40 game functions and you will unlock 5 other game modes:

Time Attack Mode: learn all the tricks to follow these circuits in the shortest time possible.

Warp Mode – An extremely long track that accelerates slowly and orbits the earth and eventually reaches Warp speed.

The Academy – Practice some of the trickier segments and earn rank badges.

Chromacing – a full 8-level racing game through huge rolling 3D landscapes.

Two Player Games – Split screen action where you can challenge a friend to see who is the best Chromadromer. You will need to be running Windows XP or Vista and have a second USB mouse handy! As you progress through Chromadrome, you will receive badges that give you access to some of 40 additional features that allow you to customize the look, feel, and sound of Chromadrome in a variety of ways. Chromadrome has been specially designed for you to play along with your favorite music. In Options you can select your own music tracks, mp3, wma or CD files and the background displays will respond accordingly.

Score points in the Arcade will also unlock some phenomenal full-screen glass lens filter effects, including motion blur, fisheye, and mosaic. Each with various customizable settings. All of your high scores are recorded with full Action Replay, so you can see yourself in action again.
