A great leader is able to inspire his workers to work harder. Instead of firing workers, great leaders know how to fire their workers so that they are at their best.
Your leadership ability will determine the size of your business, company, and even your position in your workplace. I read the book of 1 Samuel and 2 Samuel from the Holy Bible, from those books; If you get a chance to read them please read them, they are not that long to read, and what you learn from the books will change the way you relate to other people.

A great leader is open to learning. He normally loves to read. When you ask a great leader how he’s doing in his life today, he’ll usually tell you “it’s just getting started.” A great leader will constantly aim to improve himself on a daily basis. They will seek wisdom and knowledge in every challenge and trial they are going through.
A great leader knows how to inspire other people around them to do their best.
A great leader is not afraid to do the right thing and knows how to use the right words at the right time. He is masterful with his words, because he knows that what comes out of his mouth matters.
A great leader knows how to appreciate differences. Instead of fighting over people’s differences, a great leader knows how to use the strength and talents of different people to strengthen his organization.
A great leader is willing to take the first step in battle or challenges and others will follow. He/she does not wait for other people to take out the garbage for him/her, usually he/she takes out the garbage himself/herself without anyone else telling him/her what to do.
A great leader knows how to motivate himself. One of the main reasons so many people aren’t successful at what they do is because they can’t motivate themselves. Life is full of challenges and trials, but our ability to deal with our disappointments and motivate ourselves when we’ve been knocked down will determine our level of success.
A great leader treats other people as if they were important. Everyone wants to be treated with respect and they want to be appreciated. People want to know that their self-esteem matters and that a great leader knows how to genuinely appreciate and compliment other people.
A great leader will do the best he can in his current position and situation despite the challenges, trials, and difficulties he currently faces. He will do the best he can without complaining about his plight. Joseph is a great example of a great leader. You can read it in the book of Genesis.
A great leader knows that there is a beginning to everything. There will be time to prepare and there will be time to act. Those who have great preparation will do better than those who do not. He is patient, and is willing to wait during preparation time. A baby must learn to crawl, stand up, walk, and then run.
A great leader knows how to teach his knowledge to other people. He doesn’t mind teaching what he knows to other people who are willing to learn what he/she knows. Usually, a great leader becomes a great mentor to his students.
A great leader is not self-centered. He cares about the interest of others. He is usually a great server. Even though he/she is in a high position, he/she doesn’t mind serving other people.
A great leader writes down his goals, so he knows where to reach them. You cannot reach a goal that does not exist. When he sees his written goal, he will be able to see it and achieve it. Can you imagine a basketball game without the baskets to love the ball? Even a great shooter needs a target to hit. People know that they are great marksmen, because they know how to hit the target accurately. Without the target, how can they know if they have hit the target accurately? You must have clear, defined and written goals in your life if you want to become a great leader!
A great leader is not lazy, he is willing to do whatever it takes to grow and become a better leader.
