My First Aid Class at the Aid Station Near Meadow

Aid Station Near Meadow

Would you like to know if there are First Aid courses near my house? I think that if you are not a first aider then you should be. There’s so much around us that is just plain normal everyday stuff that we take for granted but which is actually quite useful when it goes wrong. It might not be a life or death situation but you feel that you should know something in case something bad happens. So when you go away on vacation and someone falls ill, you should at least know what to do and where to go for help.

I have a First Aid and CPR course near my house. My husband took the class when he went for a holiday with his family a few years back and was quickly surprised by how good it was. He said that he was hooked from then on and now every time he has a family member that needs help he goes and takes the first aid course near my house. Not only does he know what to do but he knows where to go too.

I know that the roads are not exactly the best in my neighbourhood and I used to get pretty far off when I went for a walk to the shops. One afternoon I came upon a man who was walking along the road, he looked like he was older than I am but it was the sun that was bothering him. His head was hung down and his trousers were hanging down as well. His arms and legs were cold and he was walking really slowly.

I can only describe the scene to be totally horrible. I quickly called out to him but he didn’t hear me so I continued walking and eventually I came to a spot where a police car had parked. I thought that I would wait there until the cop arrived so I could do something to help. However, when the officer saw that I was in fact trying to help the guy, he came over to me and asked me what I was doing. I told him that I was going to take an aid course near Meadow.

The aid course near Meadow is a short distance from my house. It is a small run but it still had a lot of miles of climbs and descents. When we arrived there the guy started to wobble slightly but continued to walk. I put a can of sunscreen on him and sat him down and explained to him that we had come to an aid course near Meadow and the police were just around the corner. He looked at me with a face that said I had made a fool of myself.

The reason he wasn’t wobbling too much was because he was wearing the same sunscreen we had been sitting in the local aid station. I told him that we were going to have a free first aid class the next day and that I would see if he wanted to go. He said that he didn’t want to go but that he had some cash on him. I handed him some money and told him that he could buy whatever he wanted until the next aid class. I think he was more than happy to part with a few dollars.
