Tourists need security now more than ever – if you don’t already need it, offer them a safe

When you go on vacation, you usually take a large number of valuables with you, including your passport, an MP3 player, and your wallet. Do you really need to take all of that with you? Certainly not if you want to be comfortable, so it’s nice when you can secure part of it safely in a hotel room safe. The problem is that there are still many hotels that do not offer this basic service.

The stress and worry of everyday life is something that people want to leave behind, but due to our increasingly complex existence, it becomes more and more difficult to do so when we always carry an expensive mobile phone with us. Giving someone the chance to leave you behind for a few hours can be extremely relaxing and can make someone go on vacation and if you do, it can boost your ratings on local hotel review websites!

Safes don’t have to be extremely expensive either. Even a basic safe can offer enough comfort for the customer to be happy to leave their valuables behind while they go ahead and enjoy their free time, so you should at least try to offer a minimum of a small safe where they can store things like phones and passports. .

Consider the locking mechanism, though: Unless you’re going for a safe with small keys, it’s often better to offer the digital combination locks so you don’t have to carry around heavy keys. These can be a constant reminder of the box full of valuables in the room.

Then there is the location. It makes absolutely no sense to hide your safe somewhere cryptic, so you might as well make it easily accessible. You do need to make sure it’s safe though – there’s no point in having a secure safe if the safe itself can be removed from the room and taken to a waiting toolkit!
