There are so many smartphone apps to choose from for your Android, iPhone, or iPod Touch. Everything from travel information, vacation deals, and even recipes, however, the ones listed below aren’t really informative or useful, just fun, unusual, and weird apps in some circumstances.

This app is a clever bit of weird piece of software. It covers your screen with virtual steam/condensation like a mirror in your bathroom. Blow into the device’s microphone and it will fog up the screen. You can write messages or doodle on images and to remove the vapor simply shake the device. The app also comes with realistic sounds like screeching glass.

*Drunk Marker

Have you ever misdialed a number while a little worse for wear!! With a phone book full of people you probably shouldn’t call sober let alone drunk, drinking and phone skills really don’t mix. To use this app, you must have a steady hand while holding the phone/device while trying to dial a number; however, if you have been drinking and rocking a bit, this will be impossible. A good application to play pranks on your friends.

This fun little app provides sound effects for many occasions. If someone has told a bad joke, there is slow applause. There are trombone and cricket sound effects for awkward moments of silence and the rimshot sound produces a cymbal crash for those jokes.

For fans of Ghost Buster, there is an app to detect paranormal activity and EMF. They may not be true and accurate, but some of your friends may find it amusing.

You can use this app to simulate pouring a beer and watch the screen fill up. If you hold the device to your mouth and tilt it, it will look like you’re drinking your pint… It’s an interesting app, and despite some legal controversies, it’s still very popular.

*I dare

This app is similar to the daredevil game you played in school, where you held out your hand while someone quickly stabbed you between your open fingers with a pencil or knife, but it’s obviously virtual, so your fingers remain intact.

*Multicolor concert lighter

At a concert and a ‘lighter song’ song plays… just use this app on your device, which will display a virtual lighter on your screen. There’s a built-in accelerometer, which means you can rock it and the lighter will keep up with your movement. Light your lighters!!
